I can't tell if Ally is intrigued or horrified. And what in the world can't the web do?

ESCAPE TO LA

Tomorrow, I'll be Los Angeles to rock the fault line with an art battle so epic, you'll feel the aftershocks all the way on the East coast! I speak of SUPER MOTHER FUCKING ART FIGHT at MOTHER FUCKING NERDMELT! It's gonna be cray. I'm going up against Ethan Nicolle who has threatened to chop my head off. You know what, I'm gonna go old school and let N.W.A. respond for me.

It's going to be epic!

Oh, and if you miss us in LA, you can check us out later this month in San Francisco. Super Art Fight returns to Macworld/iWorld where, for only the second time in our history, we will art fight with computers!

I fucking love San Francisco. If I could afford it, I would live there always. And eat all the ramen. And dungeness crab. And climb at that bouldering gym I keep hearing about.

PANEL 1

Ally takes out her laptop. Kane takes out a pad of paper. Bodie walks off talking on the phone

ALLY

While we're here, let's get started on Lance's site.

KANE

Right. I've got design ideas we can kick around.

PANEL 2

Lance walks up behind Kane.

LANCE

Are you drawing my site?

KANE

Kinda. I like to work out my wire frames on graph paper.

PANEL 3

Lance grabs Kane pad and starts drawing.

LANCE

You can just draw websites?

KANE

Well--

LANCE

I got this!

PANEL 4

Kane laughs at what Lance has drawn. Ally leans over to look.

LANCE

Nailed it.

KANE

HAH! Oh, man, I wish the web could do this.

ALLY (to herself)

Man train breadcrumbs?

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
