Raccoon City

I swear, the Walking Dead crew needs to get their asses up here and film some scenes in White Flint. It's absolutely perfect for a zombie apocalypse set. It's also pretty dangerous from the looks of it.

Sooooooo maybe not such a good idea.

MOUSE OVER

Finger across the throat means death!

PANEL 1

Bodie looks through the entrance glass.

BODIE

Kane, does “White Flint” mean Raccoon City in some language that I don’t know?

KANE (on the phone)

Nah, man. It’s just a dead mall.

PANEL 2

Shot of the decrepit interior.

BODIE

Dude, there’s dead and there’s apocalyptic.

KANE (on the phone)

Well, it’s been dead for years. In spirit, anyway. Now it’s a physical embodiment of its sadness.

PANEL 3

Cecily walks up.

CECILY

Oh, hey, Bodie. I was hoping to catch you before… uh… well, before you saw this.

BODIE

Gotta run, Kane. Hey, Cecily. Um, did you know that your mall is dead?

PANEL 4

Cecily nervously replies and gestures to Lord & Taylor.

CECILY

Weeeeelll, uh, we’re still here.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
