Ah, the dreaded wet willie. The most effective and one of the most gross ways to defend against sleeping head on shoulder attack. New story line starts on Monday if I have power. There's a hurricane a comin' and the last time it happened, our power was knocked out for the better part of the week. I missed an update day because of it so I will try my best to plan ahead.

In other news, September is almost upon us which means the tail end of convention season. I'll be heading to both Small Press Expo and Intervention Con. Last year, both cons were scheduled on the same weekend so I missed most of Intervention. I'm happy they got that straightened out for this year so I'll be able to get to both.

Now I was just planning on exhibiting at SPX, but it turns out we'll be Super Art Fighting as well! After the Ignatz Award ceremony, we'll be art fighting in front of a lot of indie comickers. Never thought we'd ever get the chance, but it's going to be a blast!

We haven't gotten our assignments yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be on a number of panels this year. They recorded most of the panels last year so I'm hoping there will be some record to post of them after this year's con. We will also be Super Art Fighting, but unlike any other show we do during the year, we'll be doing our second Super Art Fight Unleashed. The goal of Unleashed is to gross each other the fuck out. It can get pretty disgusting. But it's a mother fucking blast!

So, if you can get to Maryland any time during September, come on by SPX or Intervention and say hey. I'd love to meet you!

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
