As they say, if you have to explain a joke, it probably isn't funny. But I feel that the sound effect in the last panel deserves a few words. "ZIDANE" refers to retired French footballer Zinedine Zidane who, during the FIFA 2006 World Cup final against Italy, headbutted Italian footballer Marco Materazzi late in the match. Materazzi was saying some shit to Zidane and I guess he just had enough and decided to open a case of headbutt on his ass.

It was such a powerful hit he knocked Materazzi right on his ass. So every time I see a headbutt in an action flick, the sound effect "ZIDANE" echoes in my mind.

Oh, and this ends our first arc, Case of the Mondays! Oi, a month and a half for one day. I don't really have a set schedule for these arcs in terms of how long they'll run or if they'll correspond to a full day. So we'll just play things by ear.
PANEL 1
CAPTION: 5:41pm
KANE: Dear time sheet...

PANEL 2
KANE: I'm sorry you have no billable hours today because of all the meetings. Tomorrow will be better, I swear.

PANEL 3

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
