Robb Pearson used to be an anti-illegal immigration activist. He blogged against illegals, went to meetings, attended rallies, and even hosted his own rally. But the longer he associated with people in the movement, the more he reflected on just what all of this anti-illegal immigrant rhetoric was really about. And he came to some startling conclusions about himself.

This two part interview was filmed as part of the 9500 Liberty documentary which is heading to theaters for limited engagements this year.

In late 2007, Prince William County, Virginia enacts a law requiring police officers to question the legal status of anyone they have "probable cause" to suspect of being an illegal immigrant. The decision caused a uproar in the Prince William community. Filmmakers Annabel Park and Eric Byler decided to give voice to the residents and local businesses affected by the crackdown. 9500 Liberty gives us a real-life, ground eye view of this controversial battle that has spread far beyond the confines of suburban Virginia.
