And we're off on a new storyline! Which kind of spoils itself in the title, but whatever.

AWESOME CON

This upcoming weekend is AWESOME CON right here in sunny DC! Cherry blossoms and comics! How you gonna fuck with that! I'm really looking forward to it. It's the very first one so I have no idea what to expect. But check out that guest list!

KANE

Will wonders never cease?

Ally looks at her phone for the time.

ALLY

And early at that.

BODIE

Good thing. Just got an email from Steve. They want to see sketches today.

Julie walks up to the group.

KANE

Fortunately, I got some doodles down last night. Ugh. It's like we never left.

JULIE

Hey guys, bad news.

PANEL 4

Julie looks concerned.

JULIE

Cable company fucked my account. It's shut off 'til they send a tech out tomorrow. You're welcome to stay and work, but there's no wifi.

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
