Ah, stress eating.  I swear, if dumplings were closer to me, I'd be eating dumplings for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, desert, and then more snack.  Sadly at the office, stress eating usually means a bag of candy or a Coke or a bag of candy with Coke poured into it or a pitcher of Coke with a bag of candy poured into it or a big ass sandwich sprinkled with candy and dipped into a Coke. GUH!!!

Back to kickbooker sketching for me!

MOUSE OVER

Of course he wants you to come.  Gah!

PANEL 1

Ally is stress eating.

ALLY

Ugh…

PANEL 2

Greg comes up behind her and startles her.

ALLY

Ah!

GREG

Hey. I think I'm gonna head out.

PANEL 3

Ally looks back at Greg.

ALLY

Oh. Um…do you want me to come?

GREG

No, no.  It's your night. You should enjoy it.

PANEL 4

Greg kisses Ally on the cheek.

ALLY

Uh, okay. G'night.

GREG

Night.

PANEL 5

No dialog.  Greg walks off with Ally in the background.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
