I bet that most Metro employees agree that some of the decisions their bosses make are completely incomprehensible. I mean, you'd have to be completely insane to believe that Metro management knows what the fuck they're doing. Insane or broken. I feel bad for the employees because they usually get the brunt of the irate riders. And boy, us Washingtonians don't hold back when we're fucking pissed. I've never bitched out a Metro employee myself, but I've seen it happen and it sure ain't pretty.

About that first panel, I hate drawing crowds so every once in a while, I force myself to do it. The past couple of times, I've used the crowds as a mini contest for people to guess who everyone is. This time, I'm just going to tell you. These dudes are a few of the incarnations of The Doctor. I'm a gigantic Doctor Who fan and I really love what they've done with the new series. Well, I guess 2005 isn't exactly new, but you get the point. While David Tennant was absolutely brilliant and Matt Smith is doing a superb job, my very favorite Doctor is Tom Baker. I guess your first Doctor is always your favorite and he was mine. He was my Doctor when I first discovered the show on PBS and I just loved the cheesy effects, his wild eyes, and his sassy companions (I wish there was more of Romana I).

As big of a fan as I am of the Doctor, I haven't ever done any Doctor fan art. So I thought today's first panel would be a perfect opportunity. I think I forgot Jon Pertwee and you can barely see Paul McGann's hair, but the rest of them are there as far as I remember. So, for all the Who fans, who's your favorite Doctor or Companion?

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
