The whole co-working space thing wasn't around when I was coloring comics so it's something I have yet to experience. I don't actually mind working from home. In fact, I get quite a lot of work done when I'm telecommuting for my day job or cranking out comic related stuff for my this job. But I think it would have been kind of fun to have other people around in those days to at least share a nice lunch break.

I kind of wish there was a co-working comic studio around here where I could just go and hang out and talk comics while making comics. It would have to be open 24-7 because some comickers are day walkers and some of us are vampires. But I think it would be a lot of fun.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
