I don't think Wacom does such a thing as an artist edition like a guitar company like Paul Reed Smith would, but if there are any Wacom reps in the DC area who need someone to demo or evangelize their products, I'm your guy!

YP Battle Ship 2012



If you missed the blog announcement, this year I'd like to do a YP poster of some kind and I need your help. This is probably sales suicide, but I want to make a poster of your fan YP coupling. It could be Tara and Killer Queen, Lance and Bodie, Greg and Ally, whatever. I'll compile a list of your suggestions and put it up to a vote. The winning "ship" will get a limited edition poster. Head on over to the blog post and write in your favorite YP ship. When I get a decent list, I'll start the poll. Oh, and I'll ship internationally when it's all ready to go so all you non-US fans who have a perfect spot on your wall for some YP fanservice, I will provide!

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
