If you don't remember what Kane's talking about, here's the comic where he explains his art show.

And with that, we bring to a close this little interlude.  Next week, kicks off the Ask the Cast portion of our program.  Had a lot of fun with these.  I'm using a different style with them so don't be alarmed if you see *pause* color!

Sadly, I'm not transitioning to full color.  Though the style I used for the Ask the Casts was quick and easy, the coloring style I'd like to use with YP takes a little more time.  Someday, perhaps, but I'm not quite ready to make that transition (someday when I'm a full timer maybe).  I love color and I love the way it can be used to express emotions and mood.

Alright!  That's it from me!  I think we'll get wifi at the house in Montana, but no promises.  If you see me on twitter, feel free to hit me up.  If not, I'll catch you all when I get back August 26.

MOUSE OVER

Gluing twigs to a Munny? No wonder Kane's lost.

PANEL 1

Lance plays air guitar.

LANCE

Man, I wish I could have seen Miss Jessy shred on stage.

KANE

I've got the best idea!

PANEL 2

We see a shot of some of Kane's custom toys.

You know that art show I've been working on? I'm finding it difficult to focus. My pieces look cool, but there's nothing pulling them together.

PANEL 3

We see a stylized version of Jezzi Belle's skull icon.

KANE (Caption)

What if I used Apocalypse Belles as the theme! I could do screened posters and laminates and all sorts of cool rock art.

PANEL 4

Lance spreads his hands wide.  Kane makes devil horns with his hands.

LANCE

Apocalypse Belles, live at BUDOKAN!

KANE

Yeah! Give them the world tour they deserved!

Magma Studio is a fun little web app. If you've got a browser, you've got a drawing app! Mostly. If you're using MacOS Safari, you get no tablet support. If you're using iOS Safari, you do get tablet support but no paste function. Both make me chuckle a bit. But overall, it's fun to play with. Sure, it could use some more functions in there, but I think it's a solid base app to build on. And you have draw with 30 friends at the same time! Big time art jam! Reminds me of the old oekaki days in the 90s.

So check it out. This is not sponsored, but I had fun with it and I think you will, too!
