It begins!

So my initial idea was to do 47 sketches of different bronin, but I thought that would get a little tiresome.  Besides, stories are so much more fun than pinups.  That's where the idea for this storybook type thing came from.

All the artwork for this arc was created entirely in Photoshop.  Normally, I do everything on paper.  But I thought it'd be fun to give a new style a try.

Also, you should be blasting Adam Warrock's "So Many Ronin (Like 47)" on repeat as you read this series.
It was the Brokugawa Period, a golden age of fistbumps and sweet ass parties. The sun hung brightly in the sky like a disco ball the day that the Brogun chose Dude Brosano and Dude Bromei to host a sweet ass party for the Emperor at Brogun Castle in Edo.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
