Certainly, there are books and thought pieces and youtubes and instas and podcasts all about how you make a relationship work. But if all that advice does not include playing with kaiju sofubi toys while half naked in bed, you know it's bullshit!

BODIE

It fucking is! My staff refuses to serve this table because it attracts insane, long-haired weirdos.

BODIE

You both are stupid busy. Like always. But you?re still, I dunno, like dorky love birds.

BODIE

Oh, hah. Man, I dunno. We just? hmmm. You know, I never thought about it.

I guess ? Well, we do kinda make sure we share at least one meal together every day.

Even on super busy ones. Even if it?s just a quick bagel that I manage to not slice open my hand on.

I mean, it?s not like we don?t fight. We fight. About really dumb shit.

And that whole ?don?t go to bed angry? thing? Well, that?s some bullshit.

But we always work it out. We?re a team. Or something. I dunno. We just kinda work on it together. You know, make time even if there?s no time.

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
