Good Stuff Eatery on Capital Hill makes many fine, hand spun milk shakes. My absolutely favorite is the toasted marshmallow. They put two big ass toasted marshmallows in there. And they top their shakes with this really thick whip cream that will make you mess your pants.
I cannot, in good conscience, declare that it is the best milkshake the city has to offer because I have not tastes all the shakes of the city. The Shake Shack has recently taken up residence in Dupont Circle. I've eaten burgers there, but I have yet to try their milk shakes which is pretty stupid on my part since that's what they're known for. It might be fun to take a weekend when the weather is nicer and just go around town comparing milkshakes. We'd probably have to come up with some kind of criteria on which to judge them, but I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend.
