Comic is here! With all sorts of strange post cards!

NEW SITE COMING SOON

Starting next week, we're launching a new site design. The current site is not mobile compliant which screws up all sorts of things with Google and the way they list site. The new design is also less skewmorphic and more clean than what you might be used to from me.

When it launches, please let me know if you encounter any screwy things. We've done as much testing as we can, but sometime when you make a thing, you can get lost in the weeds and miss some big things. So kick it around a bit and see what falls out.

MOUSE OVER

Weird postcards for all!

PANEL 1

Kathy dancing with her hair flapping in the wind.

ANNIE (caption)

Kathy was the black sheep of the family. Well, free spirit in my eyes. Traveled all over the world. Never held down a traditional day job, but who does that these days anyway.

PANEL 2

A collection of strange postcards.

ANNIE (caption)

I always loved the random postcards she’d send me.

PANEL 3

Kathy guides Annie’s hand. Annie is holding a gun with a questioning look.

ANNIE (caption)

Though she always seemed happy and free, I sensed a darkness in her. She taught me to shoot because…

KATHY

Most fights you can talk your way out of. This is for those you can’t.

PANEL 4

A large barbecue smoker.

ANNIE (caption)

Never did figure out what she did to make ends meet, but by the time she died, she had a whole mess of money. Unfortunately, the only thing she said in her will was to throw a big ol’ family BBQ.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
