Close That Deal [Comic]

Sometimes, you'll get a client who prefers to meet over drinks than talk on the phone or communicate over email.  I like meeting in person.  I can get a better sense of who I'm dealing with if I can actually see them. Email is second best for me because of the paper trail.  I'm absolutely shit on the phone.  So don't ever call me because you'll get a blathering idiot.

Next Friday, I'll be in San Francisco for Macworld/iWorld.  We'll be doing an art fight from 2-2:45.  I think they'll be streaming it live for those who can't make it.  It'll be our second ever digital art fight which could be kind of amusing.  We get to use more colors than black and red.

RED!!!  The color of desire!!  BLACK!!! My world when she's not-- sorry about that.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
