I've had so many moments like these while drinking bubble tea.

BALTIMORE COMIC CON x SUPER ART FIGHT

It's a double header weekend! Saturday and Sunday is Baltimore Comic Con which is hella awesome. This year, they're doing a tribute to Usagi Yojimbo. I believe there's going to be an art book with versions of Usagi from all kinds of comic artists.

Saturday night after BCC, Super Art Fight returns to the Ottobar for a night of awesome! Tribe One and Adam Warrock are our musical guests and they kick all kinds of ass! Tribe One's "Kaiju (Krush Kill Destry)" is my theme song!

Gonna be a busy weekend full of nerdy comic awesomeness!

GREG

Oh, well, she has her own career path so it--

GENE

No.

Gene clarifies.

GENE

You misunderstand. A job is a job. A dream is something more. Let me ask in a different way. Was there room for Ally in your dream?

Greg is wide-eyed.

GREG

I…I never thought about it that way.

Greg puts his head in his hands.

GENE

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
