Sometimes the answer is obvious, but you need someone else to remind you.

Thank you everyone who came out to see us at the Metro Gallery or checked out the UStream of Super Art Fight Idol this past weekend. We raised over $1100 for Make A Wish Foundation!

Julie is either counting to two or flicking Bodie off.

PANEL 1

Bodie has his head in his hands, loosely holding his drink

BODIE

I know what we all want to do, but the money--

JULIE

So, what's the problem?

PANEL 2

Julie smirks at Bodie.

BODIE

Whu? I don--

JULIE

You said it yourself. You already know what you want to do.

PANEL 3

Julie counts on her fingers.

JULIE

I think you guys are in a pretty good position. I mean, look at your expenses. You own your equipment and software. And I'm not charging you guys rent.

PANEL 4

Bodie looks surprised.

JULIE (Off panel)

So unless you're planning on burning money for light, you guys can tough it out for a month or two.

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
