If You Love Somebody, Set Him Free [Comic]

I've never quite gotten the whole "set them free" kind of thing, but I'm not all that poetic.  I'm the clingy type of guy.  Hang on as long as you can!

So I'm not sure how often I'll be doing this, but I recorded a Google Hangout of me finishing this comic with Dern, Ross, and Brandon on the call to hang out and chat.  This was a test to see how it'd go.  The camera placement is a little wonky, but it's the best way to keep it out of my way when I'm working.  I might get some more lighting on the table so the camera can focus a little better, but like I said, this was a test.

Alrighty, back to more kickfunder reward things.

A flashback shot of Greg walking towards a taxi cab.

ALLY (Voice over)

You know that whole "if you love somebody, set him free" thing? Greg's been away for a good deal of our relationship.

PANEL 3

Closeup of a smiling Greg.

ALLY

Now he's back.

And…

PANEL 4

A blank panel.

ALLY

…maybe it's not meant to be…

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
