Whee! Hook everything!

Still futzing about with the site. I'm probably going to reconfigure the mobile version to get rid of the slide functionality. It was a neat experiment, but I think just turning your phone to the side is enough to read the comic. I think. stay tuned.

SUPER ART FIGHT HALOWEEN HAVOK

This Saturday, Super Art Fight returns to the Ottobar for our gigantic Halloween spectacular! SAF has sort of become a costumed event full of madness, but since it's Halloween, even I have a costume for the show! It's going to be an awesome time so if you're looking for something to do this weekend, head on out to the Ottobar and join us for some trick and a hell of a lot of treats!

MOUSE OVER

When in doubt, knee hook!

PANEL 1

Close up on Tara’s face. She’s concentrating, but not straining.

PANEL 2

We see that she’s hanging upside down with her legs wrapped around her arms which are holding on to a hold.

PANEL 3

She uncoils and reaches for the next hold.

PANEL 4

She reaches the top and pumps her fist. Kane gawks.

KANE

Wow! I didn’t know you could use yourself as a hold!

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
