Revenge is best served on a platter paid for by your enemy.

I am working on a new site design so if you missed my tweet or the post below, please take a few minutes to answer my totally scientific two-question survey. I'm looking to shift a few sections around, streamline the navigation, get rid of some stuff, add some new stuff. There will be a comic-only RSS feed so you don't have to put up with my horribly liberal ranting.

One of the big things I'm developing is a mobile version of the site. Once upon a time, I had a YP app. It broke after one of the iPhone updates and I just didn't see the point in talking to the developer to fix it. It didn't drive traffic to the site and it didn't help my sales. So this time around, I think a mobile version of the site will be a solution tailored to my needs. And I don't have to depend on someone else to fix it if it breaks.

Don't expect anything too flashy. I believe that content should drive design. Sure, I could draw up some crazy background shit that changes depending on the time of day, but that doesn't really serve the comic. I'm going to try to clean this shit up a bit.

I'm hoping to roll this out sometime during the summer. Cross your fingers!

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
