I kinda joked that YP was now going to be all Kamen Rider fan art, but I found a fun way to sneak in another Ishinomori reference in this one. One of Shotaro Ishinomori's other creations, Kikaider, is getting rebooted in a movie this summer and to celebrate, the new Kikaider shows up in episode 30 of Kamen Rider Gaim! It's a totaly ISHINOMORIGASM!!!

So here's the trailer for the new Kikaider:

This looks so bad ass!

Switch on!

PANEL 1

We see Kane's desktop. There's a video playing when an alert pops up on screen.

Kamen Rider and Kikaider together?! ISHINOMORIGASM!! Corrections already?

PANEL 2

Kane opens the email.

KANE

"Brand asset usage standards," eh. Would have been useful earlier.

PANEL 3

Kane reads out loud.

KANE

"Logo must appear at least two inches across. Logo must appear at least ten centimeters away from other branding, copy, graphics, and other design elements."

PANEL 4

No dialog. Kane scowls.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
