Just when you thought it was safe to not think about dumplings, THEY'RE BACK AGAIN! Dumplings for everyone!!!

And here's a fun timelapse of today's comic!

PANEL 1

Julie comes over to inspect the dumplings. Bodie, Kane, and Ally look nervous.

JULIE

Alright, troops. Let's take a look.

PANEL 2

Bodie's dumplings look a lot like Julie's.

JULIE (Off panel)

Excellent shaping, Bodie. If you ever get tired of design, you can be my dumpling chef.

PANEL 3

Kane's dumplings looks a little different, but still well pinched and formed.

JULIE (Off panel)

Very nice, Kane. Don't be afraid to pull in the sides a little more. The wrapper may be delicate, but it's also stretchy.

PANEL 4

Ally's dumplings look destroyed.

JULIE (Off panel)

Hmm… a little too much pinching power there, Ally. But I think I have the perfect job for you.

PANEL 5

Julie grabs Ally by the elbow.

JULIE

Come with me. Let's put that strength to good use.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
