How The West Was Really Won [Comic]

I feel like there's a porn parody somewhere in there.

CHALKISPHERE

No one came to visit me! Boo. But I drew a big ass thing in chalk on the wall. This is really my first thing I've ever drawn with chalk since I was like six. And I get to do another one tomorrow from 1pm-4pm at the Artisphere in Rosslyn, VA!

MOUSE OVER

Bullets and Breasts sounds like a really seedy biker bar.

PANEL 1

Kane gets up to make a call to Tara. Ally gestures with a grin.

KANE

Hey Tara…

BODIE

So you and Annie had a good time at Dumpling Day. Are you two a thing now?

ALLY

Yup.

PANEL 2

Ally ponders.

BODIE (Off panel)

Congrats! So I've got to ask, will you get jealous when other people ogle Annie?

ALLY

Hm… you know, that never occurred to me.

Now that I think about it, no, I don't think I mind. She's super confident in her skin and loves being on stage. She's so self-assured, like a badass, naked cowgirl.

PANEL 4

Bodie makes a movie screen gesture with his hands while Ally makes guns with her hands.

BODIE

Sounds like a Grindhouse flick. "Live in Technocolor, Badass Naked Cowgirls!"

ALLY

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
