Couple of links for ya today.
First up, I did a comic for The Nib which is a daily comics publication that features political, bio, essay, and journalistic comics. I've always kinda wanted to do political type comics, but I could never quite encapsulate an idea to a single panel. Fortunately, The Nib takes long form submissions. So I wrote a piece about my conservative aunts and my consternation at their political choices. Just in time to fuck up my Thanksgiving!
I've played League of Legends exactly once, but I follow a few of their artists on their social medias so of course I saw the K/DA "Pop/Stars" music video when it dropped. Holy shit, what a fucking banger! And now I'm sadly disappointed that LoL is not a Kpop sim game. Because fucking shit, I wanna play as a masked rapper with spray cans! If they sell that neon mask, I'ma get that shit and just wear it all day.

Frankly, business is kinda slow right now. Nothing new, right. Feast or famine is pretty much the start-up handbook.
BODIE
But our feast times haven?t been enough to sustain us through our famines. This one is particularly bad.

I should have admitted this sooner, but I?m just not that great at business development.
ALLY
Hey, that?s not true. You?ve gotten us this far.

Yeah, right into a hole. I?m a designer, not a marketer. It just kinda fell on me. I mean, Kane is a nightmare with clients.

I?m not good at small talk. Or not rolling my eyes when they ask for dumb shit.
ALLY
Don?t look at me. I went to business school for project management.

I don?t know what I?m doing and I think that?s holding us back.
ALLY
Well, maybe we can throw some interns at the problem.

KANE
We don?t have interns.
ALLY
But we can get some!

Look, we?re not at the point where we can support someone full time, but we can probably afford an intern for a short duration to help us get some business going.
Business students are always looking for interesting internships to put on their resumes, even small start-ups.

What?s more interesting than working with a design firm with action pornstar Lance Li on their client list!
