Like Ally would ever let anyone else take a fall for her.

In other news, the month of August is going to be mad book promotion time for me. I have no idea what this means, but I know I need to spread the word. I could totally use your help. I'd love to hear about indy friendly comic shops that you frequent or other places that might be interested in the book. I'd also like advice on things like writing press releases, sites to hit up, places to promote. I've got a whole lot of books that I'd love to get into people's hands.

The book is 112 pages and is going to retail for $15. When you buy a paper copy, you'll get a QR code for the digital version. I'm thinking of doing an artist edition what will come with a personalized sketch in the book and a sticker or two. I'm also kicking around the idea of doing a super awesome version which will come with the stuff that the artist editions as well as an original strip from Book 1 depending on availability. No idea how to price that because I have no idea what demand will be like.

So if you've got an opinion or a suggestions or just words of encouragement, I'd love to hear it.

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
