More rain!  If I were smart, I would scan in a page of scribblings and overlay that shit in photoshop.  But there's something fun about just decimating your page with a busted ass pen to get the effect.

MOUSE OVER

Why does Kane knows what someone's face looks like when a cat is shit on?

PANEL 1

Ally is still looking at her phone, stunned.  Kane puts a hand on her shoulder.

KANE

Ally? Hey, you okay? You look like someone shit on your cat.

PANEL 2

Ally looks at him, stunned.

ALLY

I... uh, have to, um, go...

KANE

Come on, let's get you out of the rain.

PANEL 3

Ally and Kane stand under the awning.

KANE

So, what's going on?

ALLY

...

PANEL 4

Ally suddenly grabs Kane by the shoulders.

ALLY

I, you... You have to tell me to stay here and work!

KANE

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
