Bus That Doesn't Run

I guess I'm one of those blind romantics who believes that all it takes is patience and passion to succeed at something you love doing. I'm still testing that theory out with YP, but with Super Art Fight, we've kind of turned it into a thing. This is all a fancy way of saying JUST FUCKING DO IT which is pretty much what I tell all of my friends when they talk about things they want to do.

MOUSE OVER

Bus that dosen't run? Oh, you mean weekend Metro service.

PANEL 1

ANNA hands back KANE's phone.

ANNA

So, have you exhibited your stuff anywhere?

KANE

No. Not really. My stuff isn't that good. Besides, there's no scene for that kind of thing here.

PANEL 2

ANNA explodes with fury!

ANNA

WHAT?!

PANEL 3 KANE looks frightened.

KANE

meep

PANEL 4 ANNA shakes her hand.

ANNA

Okay, first, don't say stupid shit in front of me! Second, if there isn't a scene, fucking well MAKE ONE!

PANEL 5 ANNA clenchers her fist. KANE raises his eyebrows.

ANNA

You can't wait around for someone to "discover" you! You're waiting for a bus that doesn't run. Take control and MAKE it happen yourself!

Everyone is an artist until some "adult" fucks it up

This video is sort of a subtweet about some art twitter discourse. But I wanted to respond in video form rather than in written form so that you wouldn't misinterpret my words. Also not linking the discourse directly because I don't want to dogpile on the inspiration for my thoughts. But here are three ideas that I wanted to share with artists for us to keep in our brains as we go into the new year.
